Job summary

Univar Solutions is hiring a Material Handler to operate tank farm equipment and support the shipping and receiving of bulk chemicals. You will ensure compliance with labeling and shipping regulations and inspect facilities to keep equipment in good condition.

The role requires operating a terminal tractor and forklift, knowledge of cGMP, and ability to handle hazardous materials. Physical endurance and drug screening are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a terminal tractor and forklift in a chemical or warehouse setting.
• Knowledge of cGMP requirements relevant to chemical handling.
• Ability to learn proper methods for handling hazardous materials and wastes.
• Must meet physical demands and pass drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate tank farm equipment to support shipping and receiving of bulk chemicals.
• Ensure compliance with labeling and shipping laws for warehouse merchandise.
• Inspect equipment and maintain warehouse stocks and cleanliness.
• Prepare monthly lists of non-usable materials and coordinate with management.
• Perform inspections and paperwork for hazardous waste generation and transport.
