Job summary

Midwest Environmental Services is seeking a safety-conscious Field Service Technician to support industrial waste services across the Midwest. The role involves hazardous material cleanup, emergency spill response, and industrial cleaning while maintaining strict safety and environmental compliance.

40-50 hours weekly, day shift with nights, overtime as needed, based in Louisville, KY. Requirements include at least a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and commitment to safety;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• OSHA Confined Space certification preferred (may be obtained upon hire).
• DOT Hazmat certification preferred (may be obtained upon hire).
• HAZWOPER certification preferred (may be obtained upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to service requests involving hazardous material cleanup, site remediation, and emergency spill response.
• Maintain health and safety as the top priority by strictly following all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Perform high-pressure water blasting and vacuuming in open areas and permitted confined spaces.
• Wear PPE and follow LOTO procedures when working with hazardous energy sources.
• Clean work areas and ensure equipment and materials are returned to the supply trailer.
