Job summary

HPC Industrial's Ashland, KY team is seeking a traveling Environmental Traveling Technicians I to support hazardous waste cleanup and site remediation. Tasks include equipment decontamination, handling hazardous materials, and emergency response, with 100% travel and on-call availability.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, confinement space entry training, OSHA 40-hour training, and a valid driver's license. Strong mechanical aptitude and leadership potential are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must complete confined space entry (CSE) and 40 Hour OSHA Training.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Able to travel and work weekends.
• Strong mechanical ability and leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by following policies and working safely.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting, pulling and pushing heavy objects.
• Operate light and heavy equipment such as pumps, vacuum, generators, and containment gear.
• Perform emergency response tasks including chemical and water spills and decontamination.
• Complete paperwork and inspections for vehicles and equipment.
• Be on-call 24/7 and arrange coverage when needed.
• Direct field teams and assist in field sampling and meter calibration.
