Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a professional driver to safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials from customer sites to designated facilities, ensuring DOT specifications, accurate manifests, and current permits. You will perform pre‑trip inspections, review shipment records and labels, coordinate with customers on load conditions, and assist with loading/unloading as needed.

A valid Class A CDL is required; 40‑hour HAZWOPER training is preferred, with competitive hourly pay and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Prior commercial driving experience required.
• DOT regulations familiarity related to hazardous materials.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork.
• Time management and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily vehicle and trailer inspections.
• Review shipment records, manifests, labeling and permits.
• Drive locally and ensure DOT weight limits and logs are compliant.
• Coordinate with customers on load conditions and paperwork.
• Assist with loading/unloading and housekeeping.
• Adhere to all regulations and company policies.
