Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a Safety-minded driver to transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials from customer sites to designated facilities, using various equipment. You will inspect trailers, review manifests, and ensure DOT compliance.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, a valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement, 40-hour HAZWOPER preferred, and prior commercial driving experience. The role offers pay $31–$35/hr plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of vehicle and trailer before driving.
• Review shipment records, manifests, container labeling and paperwork.
• Ensure DOT requirements, permits, and insurance are current.
• Consult with customers on load conditions and paperwork.
• Notify supervisor of any violations or accidents in-route.
• Assist in loading/unloading materials and housekeeping as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
