Job summary

GetHired, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented hotel housekeeping attendant to clean and prepare guest rooms while upholding property standards and consistency.

Responsibilities include making beds, cleaning bathrooms, restocking supplies, handling lost and found, and following emergency procedures. Weekend shifts are required to meet guest expectations and maintain smooth operations.

• Make beds, clean bathrooms, vacuum carpets, dust furniture
• Restock usable items in the suite (paper items, soap, towels, etc.)
• Clean exterior entry areas and windows as required
• Operate housekeeping equipment safely
• Maintain and restock housekeeping cart daily
• Handle key control and lost-and-found items
• Report unusual situations to supervision
• Complete maintenance work orders and assist as needed
• Accommodate guest special requests and answer questions

SUMMARY

Responsible for the cleaning and preparation of hotel rooms for the guest while maintaining system standards and consistency.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

which may include, but are not limited to, the following tasks:

• Clean assigned rooms according to property standards. This includes making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming carpet, washing dishes and dusting furniture.
• Place and restock usable items in the suite including paper items, soap, towels, matches, and candy, according to System Standards.
• Clean immediate exterior entry areas and windows, according to standards.
• Operate housekeeping equipment in a correct and safe manner.
• Maintain and restock housekeeping cart each day.
• Know hotel emergency procedures.
• Responsible for the proper administration of key control for issued keys, or keys left by guests in suite.
• Bring all lost and found items to the Executive Housekeeper's office for logging and storage.
• Report immediately to the Executive Housekeeper any out of the ordinary situation in the guests' suite, including unreported pets, parties in the suite, unusually dirty sites or a vacant suite when the room is though to be occupied.
• Complete maintenance work orders and deliver to Inspector or designated area in a timely manner.
• Accommodates guest special requests courteously.
• Answer guest questions regarding hotel and local area facilities and services.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned; reasonable requests from a supervisor.
