Job summary

CCRI (Creative Care for Reaching Independence) seeks Caregiver/Direct Support Professional in Hawley, MN to support four individuals in daily living and community participation. Previous experience is not required, and there are flexible hours including part-time and full-time paths.

You will assist with personal and medical cares, help clients with daily routines, and contribute to a supportive home environment that encourages independence.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required for clear written communication.

Hawley, MN - Caregiver/Direct Support Professional

We are hiring caregivers to work at our home in Hawley, MN. In this role, you will support four unique individuals in a variety of ways, from assisting with personal and medical cares to behavioral support.

What kind of hours?

We offer a variety of flexible options to best fit your schedule! There are opportunities to work with people who may need medical care, behavioral care, or need support in social environments.

Short or long shifts include weekdays, weekends, afternoons, early mornings, evenings, and intermittent sleep overnights. We will work with you to figure out the best option for you. The best way to find out about specific positions and hours is to apply!

What is a Direct Support Professional (DSP)?

Our DSPs work in the homes of people with disabilities and support them in living more independently. They help their clients become engaged in their community and encourage them to make their own choices.

A DSP assists people in participating in life's essential activities such as helping them start their day, take medications, get to work, manage money and household tasks, prepare meals, and so much more.

If you aren't familiar with the term Direct Support Professional (DSP), similar job titles might be Caregiver, Personal Care Attendant (PCA), Home Health Aide, Nursing Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Direct Care Provider.
