Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking an Activities Associate to organize and lead resort activities, such as lei making and crafts, to enhance guests’ vacations. You will work with the Guest Services Manager to run all activity spaces and programs daily.

RESPONSIBILITIES include planning events, supervising guests in the activity center, promoting activities, and ensuring safety. Expect a dynamic role with a focus on guest satisfaction and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Creativity and guest-focused mindset for activities.
• Excellent communication with guests and team members.
• Ability to exercise good judgement when interacting with guests.
• Possession of a valid state driver’s license for shuttle operations.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Relevant certifications may be required (see list of possible certifications).

Responsibilities

• Create, plan and execute guest activity programs for the resort.
• Monitor, supervise, and assist guests in the activity center.
• Promote and register guests for resort activities.
• Conduct inspections of activity areas in line with standards.
• Handle cashiering procedures when applicable.
• Attend required trainings and maintain safety standards.
• Address safety issues promptly and handle incidents.
