Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy seeks a Wind Turbine Service Technician for Kawailoa Wind Farm on Oahu, Hawaii. The role includes field service and maintenance of wind turbines, with a home site and mobile team support across Hawaii.

You will ensure safe, high-quality service while handling elevated work and hazardous environments. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years in a related field, and a safety-centric mindset.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years in a related field.
• Desirable college degree or equivalent competency in wind-farm related electrical/mechanical work.
• Must be able to pass a physical test and meet safety weight restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and maintenance of Siemens Gamesa wind turbines at Kawailoa wind farm, Oahu, US.
• Work with a mobile team to support another Hawaii site as needed.
• Provide excellent service and respond to customers in stressful or hazardous situations.
• Travel up to 50% to customer sites domestically and internationally as required.
