Job summary

Jabbergym - Point Quest Group in Kaunakakai, Hawaii is seeking a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist to support students’ communication needs within the educational setting.

You will conduct evaluations, develop IEP-aligned treatment plans, deliver direct therapy, document progress, participate in IEP meetings, and collaborate with teachers, families, and a multidisciplinary team. Hawaii license or eligibility required; prior school experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Hawaii Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility to obtain prior to start.
• Ability to complete all required criminal background clearances.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Experience working with students in an educational setting.
• One or more years of school-based Speech-Language Pathology experience (preferred).
• Experience managing school-based caseloads and IEP compliance (preferred).
• Familiarity with student information and IEP documentation systems (preferred).
• Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary educational teams (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations to determine student needs and eligibility.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students.
• Complete and maintain accurate IEP and therapy documentation.
• Participate in IEP meetings, annual reviews, and multidisciplinary team collaboration.
• Consult with teachers, families, and school staff to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate therapy notes, progress reports, and required documentation.
• Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as applicable.
