Job summary

Jabbergym in Kaunakakai, HI is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time, school-based position. You will evaluate students, create and implement IEP-aligned treatment plans, and provide direct therapy to support communication and learning outcomes.

You will collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams, maintain documentation, participate in IEP meetings, and supervise SLPAs as applicable.

Qualifications

• Current Hawaii SLP license or eligibility to obtain before start.
• Ability to complete all required criminal background clearances.
• Experience working in an educational setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations to determine student needs and eligibility.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students.
• Complete and maintain accurate IEP and therapy documentation.
• Participate in IEP meetings, annual reviews, and multidisciplinary team collaboration.
• Consult with teachers, families, and school staff to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate therapy notes, progress reports, and required documentation.
• Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as applicable.
