Job summary

hawaiianel is seeking a Joint Use Asset Manager for Oahu to lead engineering reviews of pole attachment and colocation requests, coordinate with multiple internal teams, and ensure compliance and safe infrastructure utilization. The role requires strong project management and engineering judgment in a complex utility environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Structural, or closely related).
  • Professional engineering experience may substitute degree.
  • Thorough knowledge of wireless and wireline attachment processes.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify assets for colocation.
  • Coordinate reviews and ensure complete engineering data for reviews.
  • Develop tools and processes to support attachment requests and compliance.
  • Lead change initiatives and manage projects with external consultants.
  • Provide engineering support on non‑compliant attachments and safety issues.
