Job summary

Dynamic Planning & Response LLC (DP&R) in Honolulu, HI, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead Harris’s SYSCON ELITE Implementation for the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, State of Hawaii. You will guide the project through all phases, ensuring delivery, governance, and alignment with client objectives.

The role requires coordinating across planning, development, testing, training, Go-Live and post Go-Live support, with hybrid work arrangements in Hawaii.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing large, complex IT modernization or systems implementation projects.
• Experience with Waterfall, Agile, Scrum and Kanban.
• Strong track record in stakeholder engagement and executive reporting.
• Experience developing and maintaining project schedules and governance artifacts.
• PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience with State of Hawaii government agencies or large public-sector clients a plus.
• Ability to work both remotely and on-site in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day project leadership across all phases of project delivery.
• Own project planning, scheduling, risk & issue management and execution.
• Support Project Executive in scope management and governance.
• Provide leadership and direction to project team members.
• Maintain alignment with client on objectives, timelines, risks, dependencies and deliverables.
• Lead or support project kick-offs, steering committees, and status reporting.
• Apply Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid delivery approaches as needed.
• Conduct retrospectives and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Prepare and maintain schedules, risk/issue logs, minutes and governance artifacts.
• Communicate project status and resource needs to Harris's Project Executive.
