Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Construction Manager Lead to guide federal facility recovery work in Kauai, Hawaii from early assessment through construction. Onsite presence is required with potential per diem allowances.

You will coordinate scopes, priorities, and field teams to ensure safety, quality, schedule and cost targets are met. Responsibilities include directing managers, coordinating engineers and vendors, and communicating status to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field, with 10+ years of leading complex facility or infrastructure projects.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass an MVR check.
• US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite construction management across facility repairs, building envelope restoration, utilities, and related infrastructure work.
• Translate assessment findings into executable scopes, sequencing plans, and construction priorities.
• Direct construction managers and coordinate engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams.
• Monitor safety, quality, schedule, budget, and progress and resolve issues that threaten delivery.
• Review construction plans, submittals, requests for information, change proposals, and field documentation.
• Communicate project status, risks, decisions, and recovery actions to internal and federal project stakeholders.
