Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking an Engineering Project Manager (Mid) for on-site work at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. The role requires CAC and the ability to pass DoD background checks, with five years of project-management and three years of military facility experience preferred.

You will translate priorities into actionable requirements, develop project documents, and coordinate across multiple stakeholders, including MILCON and SRM programs, using NexGen IT and TRIRIGA systems.

Qualifications

• Requires CAC and ability to pass DoD clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering project management or equivalent; minimum five years of engineering project-management experience; minimum three years of military facility/infrastructure experience.
• PM certification preferred; experience with AF Civil Engineering project programming, SRM, MILCON, DD Form 1391, AF Form 332, NexGen IT, TRIRIGA.

Responsibilities

• Translate IDP priorities into actionable project requirements and scopes of work.
• Conduct site visits and scoping charrettes to validate facility and infrastructure deficiencies.
• Develop comprehensive Project Requirement Documents describing scope, existing conditions, and mission impacts.
• Develop, coordinate, route, and track DD Form 1391 packages for SRM and MILCON requirements in NexGen IT/TRIRIGA.
• Evaluate technical alternatives and prepare alternatives-analysis and course-of-action briefs.
• Coordinate with Cost Estimators to assess lifecycle costs, financial feasibility, and mission impacts.
• Coordinate project development with Community Planners, AMP managers, Environmental personnel, Fire/Safety, end users, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare project coordination logs, AF Form 332 packages, stakeholder-signature packages, and compliance checklists.
• Serve as a liaison to mission partners, community leaders, and design agencies.
