Job summary

Haven Health in Flagstaff is seeking an Activity Assistant to support the Activity Manager in developing and supervising the activities program. You will help schedule activities for individuals and groups and assist in implementing such programs as part of comprehensive care plans.

The role requires fingerprinting/background checks, TB testing, health screening, 50 lb lifting, and English proficiency. This is a part-time position in a rural healthcare provider in Arizona.

Description

The Activity Assistant works under the direction of the Activity Manager and assists in directing the development, implementation, supervision and ongoing evaluation of the activities program. This includes assisting in the completion of the activities component of the comprehensive assessment along with the comprehensive care plan goals and approaches. The Activity Assistant assists in the direction of the activity program, which includes scheduling of activities, both individual and groups, and assisting in the implementation of such programs.

> Background Screening, Licensure Verification (if applicable), Reference Check, Drug Testing

> Tuberculosis Testing

> Employee Health Screening (Conducted after Hire)

> Ability to Move, Lift and Transfer a minimum of 50 Pounds
