Job summary

Haven Health is hiring an Activity Manager to lead and evaluate the activities program within our care team. You will coordinate individual and group activities, oversee scheduling, and monitor resident responses to ensure activities meet assessed needs.

You will work under the Executive Director and be part of an interdisciplinary care team, shaping care plans and measurable goals for residents’ engagement and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Fingerprinting Clearance Card or eligible to obtain (required).
• Background Screening, Licensure Verification (if applicable), Reference Check, Drug Testing.
• Tuberculosis Testing (required).
• Employee Health Screening conducted after Hire (required).
• Ability to Move, Lift and Transfer a minimum of 50 Pounds (physical requirement).
• Must be able to Speak, Read, Write and Understand English (required).

Description

The Activity Manager works under the direction of the Executive Director and is an active member of the Interdisciplinary Care Team. The Activity Manager directs the development, implementation, supervision and ongoing evaluation of the activities program. This includes the completion of the activities component of the comprehensive assessment along with the comprehensive care plan goals and approaches. The Activity Manager oversees the direction of an activity program, which includes scheduling of activities, both individual and groups, and the implementation of such programs. The Activity Manager directs the monitoring of the residents' responses as well as the evaluation of responses to the programs to determine if the activities meet the assessed needs.
