Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an Operations Supervisor – Hauling Operations to oversee multiple collection lines, manage drivers and helpers, and partner with the Operations Manager to achieve safety, customer experience, and efficiency goals across a dispersed service area.

You will lead safety programs, improve routes, monitor productivity, and develop a high-performance team through coaching and engagement while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.
• Able to direct large staff.
• Process-oriented and results-oriented; aggressive goals.

Responsibilities

• Safety: lead safety goals, remove unsafe conditions, and maintain safety programs.
• Customer Experience: meet missed pickup goals, resolve issues, communicate with stakeholders.
• Efficiency: establish productivity goals, lead drivers, optimize routes, reduce route hours.
• Employee Engagement: develop talent, coach for advancement, build a collaborative team.
• Perform other operational duties as needed.
