Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an Operations Supervisor — Hauling Operations to oversee collections activities in multiple lines of business across a dispersed area. You will supervise drivers and helpers, collaborate with the Operations Manager to meet safety, customer experience, and efficiency goals, and promote a culture of engagement.

You will lead safety programs, ensure compliance with standards, and work with maintenance to keep equipment in good order while driving routes to maximize

Qualifications

• Able to direct large staff.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, critical-thinking and decision-making skills.
• Has strong leadership skills and proven judgment of talent, with an emphasis on hiring and developing high performance teams.
• 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety goals and communicate safety objectives.
• Identify and remove unsafe conditions on routes and with new customers.
• Coordinate with maintenance to keep equipment in safe working order.
• Drive customer satisfaction by resolving service issues and ensuring timely communications.
• Manage labor hours and disposal costs to meet budgeted goals.
