Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Surface Haul Truck Driver based in Leavenworth, KS. The role involves operating haul trucks and other الثقيلة equipment to move raw materials from pit to plant at maximum loading capacity.

You will travel to Onaga, St. Mary’s and Soldier locations to produce aggregate, with day hours from 7am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. The company offers training and opportunities to advance within a leading industry provider.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience is a plus; training provided.
• Bi-Lingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate haul truck, motor grader, water truck, loader and crane as needed.
• Assist in plant repairs and clean-up.
• Perform pre-shift safety inspections on equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and report needed repairs to shop personnel.
• Maintain good housekeeping of equipment.
• Adhere to MSHA and plant safety rules and regulations.
• Perform duties with minimum supervision.

Surface Haul Truck Driver

is currently looking for a motivated individual to join our Kansas Portable Team. This position will have the opportunity to operate a variety of heavy equipment to include haul truck, motor grader, water truck, etc. to bring raw materials from pit to plant in a safe and efficient manner at maximum loading capacity.

This position will be based out of Leavenworth, KS but will travel around to locations near Onaga, St. Mary’s and Soldier Kansas to produce aggregate at those locations.

Essential Functions

• Must be able to or willing to learn to operate all other mobile equipment, including: haul truck, motor grader, water truck, loader and crane
• Assist in plant repairs and clean-up
• Perform pre-shift safety inspection on equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and service mobile equipment. Report needed repairs to shop personnel
• Responsible for good housekeeping of equipment
• Adhere to MSHA and plant safety rules and regulations
• Perform duties with minimum supervision

Minimum Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Must have a vaild driver's license
• Experience is a plus but will train the right candidate
• Bi-Lingual is a plus

Working Conditions

Larger equipment is typically air conditioned. There will be times when outside assignments that may require periods of work in all weather conditions-heat, cold, wet or dry. May have exposure to dust, sand, gravel, diesel exhaust, etc.
