Job summary

Rogers Group, Inc. in Burns, TN seeks an Off-Road Haul Truck Driver for Burns Quarry. The role requires operating rigid frame and/or articulated haul trucks with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities include moving rock from pit to crusher, performing inspections, and maintaining equipment. Must have valid CDL/DMV and be able to work overtime as needed in a day shift environment.

Qualifications

• Dedication to safe work practices.
• Previous experience operating both rigid frame haul trucks and/or articulating haul trucks preferred.
• Ability to perform general laborer and clean-up duties on the ground and in the plant as needed/directed.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate haul trucks to move shot rock from the pit to the crusher and begin the crushing process.
• Perform daily pre-and post- inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
• Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management.
• Effective communication skills applicable to position.
• Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency.
• Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
• Must be able to work outside in all types of weather and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
• Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours as needed.
• Able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration document.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record and Valid Drivers License required

Job Description

Rogers Group is seeking candidates to fill a position as an Off-Road Haul Truck Driver for the for the Burns Quarry, located in Burns, TN. The successful candidate for this position will have familiarity and experience operating rigid frame and/or articulated haul trucks and will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
