Job summary

Pilgrim’s Hatchery in Bowdon and Ranburne is seeking a Sanitation Worker to clean and sanitize production areas, and to complete required safety and GMP trainings in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. The role includes physical tasks and adherence to food safety standards.

Hours are 5:45 AM to 3 PM. Benefits include vacations, holidays, personal days, medical/dental/vision, life insurance, 401(k), and after 60 days access to free community college for employees and dependents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prefer previous manufacturing experience.
• Able to lift 40 lbs.

Work Environment / Physical Demands

• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment, temperatures ranging from 10°F to 40°F.
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Able to lift 40 lbs.
• Work in a fast paced environment, with repetitive motion work
• Ability to work overtime as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
