Job summary

Pilgrim's is seeking a dedicated team member for our production facility. The role involves pulling eggs from incubators and processing them through the inovoject machine, plus maintaining a clean, safe work area and cooperating with teammates.

You will observe equipment operation, report issues, and help others as needed. Applicants should be able to stand for long periods in warm conditions, possess basic instruction comprehension, and have prior food or production experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Food or production experience preferred.
• Ability to stand and work 8-11 hours per day.
• Ability to work in warm temperatures around 100 degrees.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Pull eggs from incubator and process through inovoject machine.
• Clean and sanitize incubators after processing.
• Observes equipment operation, notifying appropriate personnel of any malfunctions and/or safety issues/concerns.
• Clean and organized work area.
• Assist others with the skills and knowledge gained from the position.
• Maintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you work effectively and cooperatively with customers, clients, co-workers, and leadership teams.
• Recognizes and acts on incidents and safety risks. Consistently practices and enforces safe work habits and drives those habits throughout the organization.
• Participates in process improvement and problem solving utilizing continuous improvement and rational thinking methodologies.
• Follow all company animal welfare guidelines.
• Other duties as directed.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
