Job summary

Select Genetics, a leading poultry hatchery supplier, seeks a Service Room Supervisor to maintain hatchery production and supervise Service Room employees.

You will calibrate machines, oversee quality checks, train staff, and ensure biosecurity and safety standards are followed.

This role requires strong organization, ability to work under pressure, and willingness to work extended days as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is preferred.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Prior experience with animals or in a hatchery is a plus.
• Previous experience in a supervisory role required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the Service Room staff to meet company standards.
• Calibrates and sets up machines at the start of the day.
• Performs quality control on poults labeled defective by PSP or MCP machines.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment and follows biosecurity rules.
• Trains employees and resolves conflicts in a fair manner.
