Job summary

Cobb Vantress seeks a Hatchery Supervisor to oversee the hatching, pulling, vaccinating, and handling of Cobb eggs and chicks. You will ensure accurate customer egg packing shipments, maintain hatchery sanitation, and supervise biosecurity procedures to meet quality standards.

The role requires leadership of approximately 10 hourly team members, travel up to occasional domestic trips, and a commitment to safety programs within a biosecurity environment.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent experience with some related leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise a team of ~10 hourly workers and monitor work quality.
• Experience in hatchery operations or poultry biosecurity is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and compliance of customer egg packing and shipments.
• Serve as a certified Embrex trainer and vaccine mixer.
• Maintain hatchery sanitation and oversee general maintenance.
• Manage daily egg inflow/outflow and egg depot responsibilities.
• Ensure customer order accuracy and quality.
• Supervise biosecurity procedures and safety programs.
• Perform routine quality procedures and train the team on standards.
• Interpret company policies and support safety initiatives.
