Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Hatchery Supervisor to oversee breeder service operations, egg pickup, inventory, and egg breakout while supervising staff and maintaining cost controls.

The role includes directing a workforce, ensuring safety, and maintaining records. Two years in processing or manufacturing and supervisory experience are required, with strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a processing or manufacturing environment.
• Must have knowledge of hatchery of baby chicks.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Self-motivated and detail oriented.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to recognize and advise when unsafe conditions are observed.
• Computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records and direct the workforce.
• Hire and train personnel.
• Monitor safety rules and regulations.
• Set schedule.
• Observe all Bio-Security programs.
• Oversee a safe working environment.
• Oversee production of healthy baby chicks for broiler grow-out.
• Other duties as assigned.
