Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science, Agriculture, Agribusiness, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years hatchery experience required.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily hatchery operations from receipt of fertile eggs to day-old chicks.
• Lead vaccination, packaging, and shipment processes.
• Coach and develop hatchery staff; schedule work and manage labor.
• Ensure SOPs, production schedules, and quality standards are followed.
• Monitor hatchability, chick quality, and flock performance; drive improvements.
• Coordinate with maintenance for equipment and facility upkeep.
