Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms in Mississippi is seeking a team member to transfer eggs from buggies to setter machines, perform machine checks, and maintain strict PPE use. You must be self-motivated and able to work nights, weekends and holidays. Basic math is helpful; hatchery experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
• Basic math functions and skills.
• Hatchery or relative poultry industry experience would help.

Responsibilities

• Transfer eggs from buggies into setter machines.
• Perform machine checks and maintain equipment.
• Clean and sanitize machines, floors, drains, baskets, and buggies.
• Pull and push egg buggies.
• Follow safety policies, PPE requirements, and animal welfare guidelines.
• All other duties as assigned.
