Pilgrim in Utah is seeking a production area supervisor to manage staffing, supervise daily operations, and coordinate with unions, USDA, quality control, and maintenance to ensure safety and policy adherence.

The role emphasizes on-the-floor leadership, training of supervisors, and maintaining a productive, compliant production environment with a focus on teamwork and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; post high school education preferred.
• Bi-lingual preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of beef production processes is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Ensures area is properly staffed to meet operational needs
• Monitors production area by evaluating product and administering corrective procedures as sees fit (i.e. provides on the job training and support to supervisor).
• Maintain a good working relationship with Union, USDA, Quality Control and Maintenance employees
• Manage the movement of bids, new hire placement, and turnover reduction
• Facilitate and/or participate in group meetings
• Ensure company policies are being followed
• Maintains work safety regulations.
• Greets and speaks with personnel to provide cohesive working environment
