Job summary

Green Thumb is seeking a production Lead to oversee safety, training, and productivity for a cannabis processing team in Nevada. You will ensure adherence to SOPs, manage inventory, and track materials in the state traceability system, while maintaining a clean, safe workplace and coordinating with supervisors as needed.

The role emphasizes mentoring staff, sustaining quality, and driving production goals in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred.
• Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, common sense and resourcefulness.

• Possesses a high level of critical thinking.
• Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information.

• Previous experience with plant life highly desirable – yes, your home garden absolutely counts!
• Basic math and computer skills.

• Prior cannabis experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Direct the team to complete daily, weekly, monthly and annual production goals.
• Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and annual inventory of cannabis and non-cannabis items.
• Complete daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports as needed.
• Lead the team in supervisor’s absence.
• Accurately track product and waste electronically in the state traceability system.
• Operate sanitation and PM of mechanical equipment and tools.
• Transfer material between departments with proper state traceability documentation.
• Foster a positive environment and self-motivation among staff.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all employees.
• Mentor, train and develop team members with real-time coaching.
• Ensure safety and productivity of all employees in your area.
• Follow all policies, regulations, laws, and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace per 5S.
• Investigate and report incidents.
• Manufacture and/or package products as needed.
• Suggest and implement cost-saving ideas and workplace efficiencies.
• Demonstrate strong organization and Windows-based software skills.
• Manage time to meet goals while producing quality product.
• Sanitation and cleanup of processing areas throughout the day.
• Follow instructions and accept constructive feedback to maintain quality and goals.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
