Job summary

Creekstone Farms Premium Beef is seeking a Lead to maintain high production, quality, and yields while ensuring the safest working environment. You will oversee the slaughter process, maintain accurate records, and manage line maintenance with a continuous improvement mindset in a Creekstone Proud culture.

Responsibilities include teaching standards, task distribution for efficiency, coaching new team members, and ensuring documentation and teamwork align with company goals.

Qualifications

• Meat industry experience required.
• Knowledge of how Harvest operations are connected to the whole beef production process.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Clear communication skills verbally and in written form.
• Ability to coach and develop others into becoming a better employee.
• Leadership skills such as conflict resolution, encouraging others and inspiring good work.
• Ability to take direction humbly and collaborate in order to define and pursue team goals.
• A positive outlook and attitude in taking initiative and problem solving, unprompted.

JOB SUMMARY

The Lead is responsible for maintaining high production, quality, and yields while ensuring the safest working environment possible. This position requires an essential understanding and control of the slaughter process, accurate record keeping and general line maintenance and staffing. They will be responsible for being an example to other Team Members using a continuous improvement mentality and will work to perpetuate a Creekstone Proud culture through attitude and actions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Climbing, stooping, and crouching occasionally; Standing for 8 or more hours per day; Walking frequently; Pushing, pulling, and grasping to move materials; Must be able to lift and carry for short distances; 0 100+lbs; Able to work in various environment such as humid, heat, wet, cold; Wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) occasionally hard hat, safety-toe boots, safety goggles, hair/beard net, etc
