Job summary
Saronic Technologies in Austin, TX is seeking a detail-oriented Harness Inspector to ensure harness assemblies meet IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards and internal quality requirements. Responsibilities include inspecting crimps, terminations, insulation, and routing; identifying defects; and documenting findings in the company systems with accuracy.
The role supports production and quality teams, requires reading basic drawings, following procedures, and maintaining a clean, compliant inspection area
Qualifications
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certification required or ability to obtain.
- Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and meticulous inspection skills.
Responsibilities
- Inspect harness assemblies to IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
- Identify defects in crimps, terminations, insulation, and routing.
- Verify labeling, configuration, and workmanship meet requirements.
- Document inspection results in company systems.
- Escalate nonconformances to leads or supervisors.
- Support in-process and final inspections as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.
- Continuously improve knowledge of standards and inspection techniques.
