Job summary

Timberline Manufacturing is seeking a Harness QA Inspector to join our employee-owned team in the United States. You will inspect finished wire harnesses and ensure quality before shipment, using reading drawings and schematics to verify conformity.

This role requires good communication, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily inspections of finished wire harnesses prior to shipment to ensure goals are met.
• Perform inspection of first article and first piece inspections.
• Follow compliance of AS9100 documentation requirements as applied to production.
• Perform inspection of first article and first piece inspections.
• Record and report on quality issues.
• Support and contribute process improvement ideas.
• Troubleshoot and assist with the repair of issues as needed.
• Work with a variety of equipment and hand tools.
• Comprehend mechanical aptitude and abilities.
• Comprehend and read technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as required.

Harness QA Inspector

Description: Assist in the manufacturing production of wire harnesses with primary emphasis being the inspection and quality control of completed wire harnesses.

Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:00AM - 6:30PM, Friday OT as needed
