Job summary

Qualtronics is seeking a detail-oriented professional to interpret, quote, and develop wire harness production documentation from customer drawings, applying established harness design standards. You will review drawings for issues, establish costs, source materials, and create quotes using internal systems.

You will maintain templates and paperwork, communicate with customers and production teams, and ensure ISO compliance throughout the job process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience interpreting drawings and producing quotes preferred.

PURPOSE OF JOB:

To interpret, quote and develop wire harness production documentation from detailed drawings and customer input by applying established harness design standards and practices

• Review customer drawings for technical issues and provide solutions
• Interpret and establish all costs associated with customer’s harness design
• Source and investigate pricing and availability of new materials
• Create quotes for new and existing customers that satisfy the customer’s needs
• Create drawings, From-To, using internal software based on customer designs
• Create materials and templates in JobBoss as needed
• Maintain a rapport with the customer through the design process and make adjustments as needed
• Communicate requirements to the production team using official Handoff template to confirm and resolve issues with final harness designs
• Manage Part Approval process
• Maintain accurate paperwork and job files electronically and physically to facilitate smooth transition of information
• Adhere to ISO requirements related to the job area

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
