Job summary

Community Access in Bronx, NY, seeks a Harm Reduction Specialist to join the Intensive Mobile Treatment (IMT) team. You will engage participants through harm reduction, motivational interviewing, and stage-wise interventions, supporting housing goals and safety planning.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least two years’ experience with mental health and co-occurring disorders, flexible scheduling, and strong teamwork in a multi-disciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• Commitment to person-centered treatment and self-determination.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; LMSW preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage participants using harm reduction strategies.
• Complete assessments and evaluations as needed on a rotating schedule.
• Complete progress notes for all contacts within 2 business days.
