Job summary

Community Access in New York City is seeking an IMT Behavioral Health Specialist to join a multi-disciplinary team providing trauma-informed, harm reduction oriented mobile and community-based care. You will engage participants through individualized assessments and therapeutic planning to support housing goals and recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or other Health and Human Services related field; LMSW preferred
• Minimum of two years’ experience working with individuals with a mental health condition with co-occurring substance use disorder
• Available to work a flexible schedule, mornings, evenings and weekends
• Fingerprint clearance by NYS Justice Center

Responsibilities

• Engage participants through individualized assessments and therapeutic intervention planning
