Job summary

Quest Global in New York is seeking a hardware test professional to design fixtures and bring up test stations for large-scale engineering projects. You will perform environmental, mechanical, and ESD tests, using metrology tools like CT Scan and CMM, and analyze materials with FTIR.

The role emphasizes wiring and mechanical integration, calibration discipline, and strict adherence to lab safety and quality processes. On-site in New York with full-time engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 3–5+ years in a hardware test lab or validation environment.
• Proficiency with CAD tools and lab testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver test fixture design packages including mechanical/electrical drawings, assembly instructions, and validation protocols.
• Lead test station bring-up activities with calibration records and GR&R studies.
• Execute environmental, mechanical, and ESD testing per standards.
• Operate metrology equipment (CT Scan, CMM) and perform material analysis (FTIR).
• Manage equipment PM schedules and calibrations; maintain calibration records.
• Ensure proper safety and quality management in the lab.
