Job summary

IntelliPro is seeking a Hardware Test Technician I in San Francisco, CA. The role focuses on testing, validating, processing, and tracking hardware components used in advanced data collection and technology systems.

You will operate in a warehouse and laboratory environment, perform repetitive hands-on testing, document results, and troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues, while following SOPs and validation workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical lab, manufacturing, warehouse, or hardware support environment.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Basic networking concepts and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and execute documented procedures and SOPs.
• Ability to use command-line utilities and scripts.
• Attention to detail and strong documentation discipline.
• Hands-on work with hardware, test equipment, and technical systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute hardware and software validation by connecting sensors and compute devices to test benches.
• Perform documented testing, firmware updates, and pass/fail verification.
• Process validated hardware for shipment and route defective components through RMA or repair workflows.
• Label, track, and maintain accurate hardware inventory and disposition records.
• Record test results and operational activities accurately in designated tracking systems.
• Identify issues that cannot be resolved through documented procedures and escalate them appropriately.
• Follow SOPs and maintain organized workspaces and test benches.
• Support shipping, receiving, labeling, and hardware tracking activities as needed.
