IntelliPro in San Francisco seeks a Hardware Test Technician I to support hardware validation, testing, and quality control for data collection systems. You will perform repetitive bench tests, document results, and assist with firmware and software updates.

This full-time onsite role sits in a warehouse and laboratory environment; you will follow SOPs, use test benches, track inventory, and route defective parts through RMA or repair workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical lab, manufacturing, warehouse, testing, or hardware support environment.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Ability to read, understand, and execute documented procedures and SOPs.
• Ability to execute command-line utilities and existing scripts.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline.
• Ability to work with hardware, test equipment, and technical systems in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute hardware and software validation by connecting sensors, compute devices, and related hardware to test benches.
• Perform documented testing, firmware updates, and pass/fail verification.
• Process validated hardware for shipment and route defective components through established RMA or repair workflows.
• Label, track, and maintain accurate hardware inventory and disposition records.
• Record test results and operational activities accurately in designated tracking systems.
• Identify issues that cannot be resolved through documented procedures and elevate them appropriately.
