Job summary

IntelliPro is seeking a Hardware Test Technician I to support an autonomous vehicle hardware validation and quality control operation in a warehouse and laboratory environment. The role requires hands-on testing, validation, inventory processing, and troubleshooting of hardware components used in data collection systems, following documented SOPs and test procedures to ensure quality and functionality.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a technical lab, manufacturing, warehouse, testing, or hardware support environment.
• Hands-on familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Ability to read, understand, and execute documented SOPs and work instructions.
• Ability to execute command-line utilities and existing scripts.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to work full-time onsite in a warehouse/laboratory environment.
• Ability to quickly learn and follow established testing and operational procedures.

Responsibilities

• Connect sensors, compute devices, and related hardware to test benches.
• Execute documented hardware testing and validation procedures.
• Perform firmware updates, software installations, and driver updates.
• Execute predefined scripts and command-line utilities.
• Verify hardware functionality against defined pass/fail criteria.
• Document test results accurately.
• Label, track, and process validated hardware for shipment.
• Identify and segregate failed or defective components.
• Route defective hardware through established RMA/repair workflows.
• Maintain accurate inventory and hardware disposition records.
• Support shipping, receiving, and hardware processing activities.
• Follow documented SOPs, work instructions, and validation workflows.
• Record test outcomes and hardware status in designated tracking systems.
• Troubleshoot straightforward hardware/software issues using established procedures.
• Escalate issues that cannot be resolved through documented troubleshooting steps.
• Maintain organized workspaces and equipment while supporting quality and throughput goals.
