• Hands-on familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Ability to read, understand, and execute documented SOPs and work instructions.
• Ability to execute command-line utilities and existing scripts.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to work full-time onsite in a warehouse/laboratory environment.
• Ability to quickly learn and follow established testing and operational procedures.

Responsibilities

• Connect sensors, compute devices, and related hardware to test benches.
• Execute documented hardware testing and validation procedures.
• Perform firmware updates, software installations, and driver updates.
• Execute predefined scripts and command-line utilities.
• Verify hardware functionality against defined pass/fail criteria.
• Document test results accurately.
• Label, track, and process validated hardware for shipment.
• Identify and segregate failed or defective components.
• Route defective hardware through established RMA/repair workflows.
• Maintain accurate inventory and hardware disposition records.
• Support shipping, receiving, and hardware processing activities.
• Follow documented SOPs, work instructions, and validation workflows.
• Record test outcomes and hardware status in designated tracking systems.
• Troubleshoot straightforward hardware/software issues using established procedures.
• Escalate issues that cannot be resolved through documented troubleshooting steps.
• Maintain organized workspaces and equipment while supporting quality and throughput goals.

Mandatory Requirements

• Prior experience working in a technical lab, manufacturing, warehouse, testing, or hardware support environment.
• Hands‑on familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Ability to read, understand, and execute documented SOPs and work instructions.
• Ability to execute command‑line utilities and existing scripts.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to work full‑time in an onsite warehouse/laboratory environment.
• Ability to quickly learn and follow established testing and operational procedures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience performing hardware testing or validation.
• Familiarity with firmware updates, software installation, and driver management.
• Basic scripting knowledge in Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar languages.
• Experience with inventory control, shipping/receiving, or RMA processes.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues.
• Familiarity with autonomous vehicle (AV) components and sensors.
• Experience working with test benches or hardware validation equipment.
• Fully onsite in a warehouse and laboratory environment in the San Francisco Bay Area.
• Primarily hands‑on work involving hardware handling, bench testing, validation, inventory processing, and documentation.
• Full‑time support during standard business hours.
• Training and documented procedures will be provided to help resources ramp up quickly.
