Job summary

In-Q-Tel's Technology Architecture Group is seeking a seasoned technologist to work with IQT’s government partners, guiding the technical aspects of investments in robotics, space tech, sensors, and related fields. This role focuses on delivering viable, mission-ready architectures and solutions for the Intelligence Community and DoD.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required due to contractual reasons.
• Active top-secret clearance preferred; candidate must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• Advanced degree in science or engineering preferred.
• Minimum 5 years professional experience including overseeing a technology development effort in business/intelligence.
• Demonstrated expertise in space technology.
• Experience negotiating milestone-based Statements of Work contracts.

Responsibilities

• Identifies new technology areas for investment and provides technical diligence on multiple investments.
• Develops and negotiates Statements of Work contracts between IQT and start-up companies.
• Provides thought leadership in one or more subject matter areas.
• Leverages government use cases to identify topics for engagement strategies across development horizons.
• Oversees work program deliverables and communicates paths for issue resolution to IQT leadership.
• Oversees development of technology architecture and solutions for government partners.
• Coordinates with customers on technology adoption strategy across multiple work programs.
