Job summary

IQT seeks a Technology Architect to work with government partners, guiding investment tech strategies across robotics, space, and sensors. Lead architecture and engagement efforts to deliver compelling solutions for intelligence/community missions.

The role emphasizes technical diligence, contract negotiation, and leadership across multiple work programs in a hybrid in-office/teleworking setup in the Washington, DC area.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required for contractual reasons.
• Active top-secret clearance preferred; at minimum eligible for access to classified information.
• Advanced degree in a science or engineering discipline (or equivalent experience) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years professional experience overseeing a technology development effort in a business or intelligence environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in space technology.
• Experience negotiating milestone-based Statements of Work contracts.

Responsibilities

• Identify new technology areas for investment and provide technical diligence on multiple investments.
• Develop and negotiate Statements of Work contracts between IQT and startups.
• Provide thought leadership in subject matter expertise.
• Oversee development of technology architecture addressing IQT government partners' problems.
• Coordinate with customers on technology adoption strategies across programs.
• Oversee technical work program deliverables and communicate resolution paths to leadership.
