Job summary

In-Q-Tel's Technology Architecture Group in McLean, VA is seeking a Senior Technology Architect to collaborate with government partners, guiding AI/ML solutions from venture-backed startups to meet mission needs and readiness.

You will identify new AI/ML investment areas, develop statements of work, provide technical leadership, and oversee architectures across multiple programs addressing partner challenges.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required for contractual reasons.
• Active top-secret clearance preferred or eligible for access to classified information.
• Advanced degree in science or engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years leading a technology development effort in a business or intelligence environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in AI/ML and in negotiating milestone-based SOW contracts.

Responsibilities

• Identify new AI/ML technology areas for investment and provide technical diligence.
• Develop and negotiate Statements of Work contracts between IQT and startups.
• Provide thought leadership in AI/ML subject areas.
• Oversee development of architectures and solutions addressing AI-related partner challenges.
• Coordinate with government partners on AI adoption strategies across programs.
• Assess work program deliverables and communicate paths to resolve issues to leadership.
