Job summary

OSI Engineering, Inc. in Cupertino, CA, is seeking a hands-on Test Engineer to drive NPI test readiness from SMT to final assembly. You will plan dry runs, identify issues early, and lead cross-functional efforts with engineering and manufacturing to keep launches on schedule.

The ideal candidate has a BS/MS in engineering, plus experience with PCB/embedded systems, test automation in Python or C, Six Sigma basics, and strong communication. Relocation assistance may be offered.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field.
• Hands-on experience with PCB or embedded systems (e.g., Raspberry Pi, microcontrollers, FPGAs).
• NPI familiarity or readiness to lead NPI testing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and execution of test readiness activities across all NPI phases (SMT to final assembly).
• Plan, execute, and complete dry runs to ensure test readiness for NPI builds.
• Troubleshoot and resolve test-related issues during the build process to minimize delays.
• Create and implement strategic plans to address problems with timely solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and cross-functional teams for alignment on goals.
