Job summary

Hobbsnews is seeking a System Integration Test Lead to oversee test readiness for all NPI phases and manage build dry runs in Cupertino, CA. You will troubleshoot test issues, develop strategic fixes, and coordinate with engineering and manufacturing to align goals and deliverables.

The role requires strong analytical skills, leadership, and proficiency in MacOS and iOS, with 3+ years in product engineering testing. This is an on-site position based in California.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in System/EE/SW with 3+ years of relevant industry experience on product engineering testing and development.
• Deep understanding of system and hardware fundamentals and a background in the design of complex systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with failure analysis and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication, organizational, presentation and leadership skills.
• Proficient in MacOS, iOS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and execution of test readiness activities across all NPI development phases.
• Plan, execute and complete build dry runs to ensure manufacturing test readiness for NPI builds.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve test-related issues during the build process.
• Create and implement strategic plans for addressing problems with timely solutions.
• Work with engineering, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to align on goals and deliverables.
• Regularly track and report test progress, readiness, and outcomes.
• Refine and improve test processes to enhance quality and product maturity.
