Description

In this role, you will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and integrate hardware systems for future Apple products. The position requires independent detailed design work, a high-level understanding of systems, excellent communication, and leadership skills in a dynamic environment.

• Ownership of electrical architecture and implementation
• Schematic creation and layout responsibility
• Hardware bringup and debugging
• Hardware validation
• Prototyping and proof of concepts

Minimum Qualifications

• BS in electrical engineering or computer engineering
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience in hardware system design
• Strong experience in electrical design, including component selection, circuit design, schematic capture, component placement, and PCB/flex layout
• Excellent EE fundamentals, analog design knowledge, DC/DC, power, signal integrity, SPICE simulations
• Knowledge of embedded processor peripheral interfaces (PCIe, USB, I2C, CAN, SPI, storage, high-speed serial)
• Proficiency in PCB/flex layout and construction best practices
• Hands-on experience with test equipment (oscilloscope, multi-meters, etc.) for prototype debugging and validation

Preferred Qualifications

• MS in electrical or computer engineering
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience
• Experience taking designs from concept to mass production in consumer electronics

Pay & Benefits

Base pay ranges from $143,100 to $264,200, depending on skills, experience, and location.
