Job summary

Axon is seeking an Engineering Program Manager, Solutions in Sterling, VA to lead hardware-centric programs with external partners. The role focuses on translating requirements, aligning internal teams, and delivering high-visibility projects across EVT/DVT/PVT phases.

You will manage budgets, schedules, risks, and manufacturing readiness, collaborating with ODM/CM and other partners to ensure quality and on-time production in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Systems Engineering or related field.
• PMP certification a plus.
• Proven experience managing hardware programs with external partners.
• Fluency translating product requirements to technical scopes.

Responsibilities

• Translate product requirements into technical scopes and align internal teams and external partners.
• Own master schedule for solutions programs with ODM/CM partners across EVT, DVT, PVT.
• Manage scope, technical reviews, and deliverable acceptance with vendors.
• Identify and mitigate risks from partner capability gaps and long-lead components.
• Manage program budget including NRE, tooling, and build costs; align with business objectives.
• Collaborate with domestic and international stakeholders to ensure manufacturing readiness.
