Job summary

Reality Interactive is looking for a Hardware Solutions Manager to lead the design, sourcing, and lifecycle management of hardware solutions supporting our digital signage, kiosk, and interactive retail deployments.

You’ll work with Sales, Project Management, Engineering, and Technical Services to translate client requirements into reliable, scalable hardware; lead field integration planning; and escalate complex issues. Travel ~30% with on-site client visits.

Qualifications

• Experience with AV, digital signage, kiosks, or related hardware systems.
• Experience designing or specifying hardware solutions from requirements.
• Knowledge of displays, media players, PCs, networking, peripherals, and mounting systems.
• Experience working with hardware manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers.
• Ability to evaluate hardware on cost, reliability, and lifecycle.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Willingness to travel ~30%.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify hardware solutions based on client and project requirements.
• Evaluate displays, media players, PCs, networking gear, and mounting systems.
• Build relationships with manufacturers and distributors to drive channel growth.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, warranty, and support terms.
• Support purchasing decisions and develop hardware standards.
• Collaborate with Sales, Project Management, and Development on deployments.
• Lead field integration planning and provide escalation for complex issues.
• Identify opportunities to lower cost and improve reliability.
• Attend industry events and travel to client sites.
