Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. in Sunnyvale, CA seeks a Hardware Reliability Engineer Technical Lead to build and scale our hardware reliability function from the ground up.

You will define reliability requirements, establish test strategies, and drive end-to-end execution across automotive, defense, construction, mining, and agriculture industries. You will lead cross-functional alignment, manage third-party testing partners, and work directly with enterprise customers to ensure our hardware operates

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on hardware reliability engineering experience.
• Direct experience shipping products in consumer electronics with at least one heavy-duty/regulated industry.
• Proven track record of defining product reliability requirements and test plans.
• Scripting/programming capabilities for test automation and data extraction.

Responsibilities

• Architect and mature the hardware reliability function across the company.
• Define hardware reliability requirements, test strategies, and environmental stress testing.
• Lead 3rd-party labs and supplier execution to meet specs and timelines.
• Collaborate with hardware design, quality, and systems engineering and interface with external customers.
• Lead root-cause analysis on hardware defects using physics-of-failure approaches.
